The Itawamba Community College WIN Job Center in Monroe County is located at the Monroe County Government Complex building, 2nd floor, at 1619 Hwy. 25 North, Amory, MS. The center offers employment and training services for job seekers.

Monroe County Certification

Monroe County became a certified Work Ready Community in February 2022 and has since maintained its status by meeting ongoing goals, earning points across traditional (e.g., skills assessments, employer support) and optional benchmarks to demonstrate its commitment to workforce readiness.

Local Engagement & Impact

Since 2012, over 6,200 residents in Monroe County have earned or improved their ACT WorkKeys™ credentials, with six participating high schools and more than 48 local employers collaborating to prepare job seekers and students for career success.

Getting Involved

Employers and educators in Monroe County can support the initiative by registering their organizations, hosting ACT WorkKeys™ testing, and promoting National Career Readiness Certificates to ensure our community remains competitive and “work ready.”
